How do I join Daf HaYomi B'Halacha
All you have to do is start! Learn the daily Halacha limud of Mishnah Berurah according to the luach (Click Here) and you are a part of the Daf HaYomi B’Halacha movement! You can also join a local Daf HaYomi B’Halacha shiur, available in cities throughout the world. (Click here to find a shiur nearby.) Or, listen to recorded shiurim here. How does one keep track of the Daf HaYomi B'Halacha schedule?
A free pocket calendar, which lists the daily limud by date, is available. You can view the calendar here. To receive one, call 888-5-Dirshu or email daf-hayomi-behalacha@DirshuNJ.org.
What does the "daily limud" cover?
The program consists of learning a daily page of Mishnah Berurah, a page of “Biurim Umusafim” (found in the Dirshu Mishnah Berurah) – featuring present-day halacha from the Poskei Hador, as well as a segment of Mussar from Sifrei Chofetz Chaim.
Are there any days set aside for review?
Sure. Sunday-Thursday consists of new material. Friday and Shabbos are earmarked for review of the limud of the preceding five days.
How long is an average shiur?
About 30 minutes a day.
If I learn Daf HaYomi B'Halacha, must I take the tests?
No. Tests are voluntary. They are given once a month, on a Sunday. For a listing of the testing sites, click here.
If I miss my shiur, are other shiurim available?
Yes. Click here to hear or view recorded shiurim. You can also follow shiurim by calling Kol Haloshon.
